Book Blogger Love-a-Thon: Questionnaire

bblat

Hi! As my first post for the Book Blogger Love-a-Thon, you’ll get to read a bit about me. Don’t die!

1. What’s your name?

I’m Pamela. And yours? 🙂

2. Where in the world are you blogging from?

Ecuador. Feel free to visit some time. And bring snow.

3. How did you get into blogging in the first place?

I woke up one day and decided my friends needed a break from all my bookish talk and other bookish people probably would like to hear it.

4. How did you come up with your blog name?

It was actually very simple. I’m a writer, and I have a lot to talk about. Maybe one day, when I publish a book, I’ll want to know how it all started, and all those ‘tales’ would be here, along with the help of those who have popped around.

5. What genre do you read and review the most on your blog?

That would be mostly anything YA, except for historical(except for My Fair Assassin), and some carefully chosen NA.

6. What other types of posts do you do on your blog, apart from reviews?

I used to post some writer interviews, which I had to stop due to time issues. I like to share my beloved ships, and opinions about random things I feel in the mood of talking. Oh, also once in a blue moon I’m not lazy enough to write a Top Ten Tuesday post 🙂

7. Best blogging experience so far?

Huh, that’d be meeting other writers through the interviews, and bloggers through the Blog Chains, challenges and blog hops.

8. Favorite thing about the blogging community?

The excitement we all share for books and that we’re always trying to do things for others, and get better, either if it’s at designing, writing, or vlogging.

9. Name the 5 books you’re most excited for this 2015!
  1. Rogue, by Julie Kagawa
  2. Shadow Study, by Maria V. Snyder
  3. The Return, by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  4. The Forgotten Crown, by Julie Kagawa
  5. The Ruby Circle, by Richelle Mead
10. What’s an underrated book or series that you think everyone should read?

Darkness Becomes Her, by Kelly Keaton, without a doubt. That thing is a masterpiece 0.0

11. Which book boy or girl would be your book BFF?

I’d go with Puck, from the Iron King.

12. Apart from reading, what are your other hobbies or interests?

I also like roleplaying, and doodling 🙂

13. Apart from book shopping, what else do you like shopping for?

Recently, I’ve developed a thing for makeup and nail polish

14. At a party, the DJ suddenly changes the song – and it’s your song. What song would be playing?

Demons -Imagine Dragons. My jam *_*

15. Pick out either a book you want turned into a film/TV show, or a film/TV show you want turned into a book.

Princess of Thorns, by Stacey Jay. Now.

  1. You’re from Ecuador?! Literally, if I could choose to live anywhere in the entire world – that’s where I would choose. I went a couple summers ago, and I just fell in love. Really I’d love to live anywhere in South America, but Ecuador has been my favourite country so far. (It helps that 1. You speak Spanish and not Brasilian Portuguese, and 2. You use American money haha)

And you’ve read Darkness Becomes Her?! I literally know ONE other person who’s read any of the series! I can’t believe it didn’t hit bigger than it did – I mean the whole mythology of it sounded like a winner to me. I’m still waiting to get my hands on the third book, and I think I just found out there’s going to be a fourth? I might be thinking of a different series though.

    1. Hahaha yup! It has its perks. But Mr. Sun kind of gets annoying after a while. I envy you guys for the snow! And yes! Darkness Becomes Her! As I said in my review, I totally didn’t expect to love it as much as I did but the AWESOMENESS. I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR SO MUCH OF IT. I heard about a fourth too, and yes, it’s about Ari too; but I’m still not sure if I’ll be reading it. The third one had a good ending. But now, if there’ll be more about Violet… XD
