A Writer’s Tales Turns One Year

Blogoversary

Exactly 1 year ago, the hosting account for A Writer’s Tales was created. I didn’t have much idea of I was doing back then. Neither do I now. But I’d like to think this has been an awesome year in a lot of ways. I’ve come a long way from that first blog post when I was sure no one would ever read this thing. And I’m very happy. 🙂

And the best part: It’s just the beginning! I’ll allow myself to celebrate for a whole month, because god knows I need more creative ways to avoid doing homework.

Prepare for 4 whole weeks of celebration!

Meanwhile, I wanted to thank a lot of people that have contributed, in one way or another to keeping this blog alive and me, sane.

*takes deep breath*

First, I’d like to thank Olivia, for being the first one to ever comment on one of my reviews. I was so happy when I got the notification someone had replied to something I’d witten! Also, author Isabel Lawless, and several of the gals at a group in GR, for being my guinea pigs  first authors I ever interviewed. I also have a lot to thank to John Hansen, and the community of teen writers he built. Then, thanks to the Love-A-Thon, I met Tanya, a lovely bookish lady; and Mishma, who has the most amazing discussion posts and has been kind enough to be my friend 🙂 Daniela Ark, who got excited about my writing, and made me a very happy writer because of that! Alise and Bec, the gals from Readers in Wonderland, for having such an awesome feature like Bloggers Commenting Back. It drew me out of my little bubble and into the habit of visiting other blogs! There is also, Wesaun, whose name I love, and she was the first to ever tag me for something. Julia, Jenny, Maureen for being my first blog followers and Ember for being the last one to join the club! Author Tracy Banghart for writing such an awesome series featuring strong women that really inspired me, and for being a really nice person in Twitter and loving The 100 so much! Thanks to Precious, for leaving likes on my posts from time to time. THEY MADE MY DAY. And Jillian -your blog is beautiful-, Leigh, Nova and Aila for being such cool peeps in twitter!

I wish I could name every single person who has contributed but alas, I’ll just gonna say I’m eternally grateful to anyone who has ever left a like, commented, or shared any of my posts, followed me in any way, and spoken (written?) to me. You’re all so awesome!

  1. Thanks for the amazing giveaway!!!
I tried signing up to the email updates but nothing happens when I click on subscribe 🙁 I already mentioned that I’m following via email on the rafflecopter form. I’m following via Bloglovin as Ashfa Anwer too. Could that be corrected on the RC form please? So sorry for the mess 🙁

  2. PAM! HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY GIRL! *throws confetti* I am so happy for you!
I am so glad that I met you through the Love-a-thon chat too! It was amazing isn’t it? You are such a wonderful friend, and here’s to more years of friendship and blogging!
