On account of my own health and time disponibility I’ve decided to make it official that I won’t be around the blog so much. This will probably go on for two weeks, to a month, I’m not sure.
My posts have already turned sporadic, but I’m glad I haven’t been pushing myself all that much either. I still have some things I want to post but I wanted to make it official that it won’t be that much or close between for a while. I’m always around on twitter, and will try to use this time to comment more on other blogs too :3
In other news
I mentioned it on twitter but I’ll say it again, my macroeconomics teacher from last semester has shared with some students his intentions to become the next President of the Republic of Ecuador. He’s an honest man with great ideas and he has my full support.
Actually, the universe with its cruel sense of humor and knowing I don’t like politics made it so now a friend of mine, ad me are in charge of this movement, which our dear teacher is making to be all about ourselves, the young, the students. He’s very idealist that way, but that’s why we’re so excited to start this.
Ecuador is in a really bad situation. Taxes are climbing to the sky, people are without job, and on top of that, businesses are closing because import taxes are so high too. And nobody in the government is listening. We need lower taxes, we need free trade with other countries so that our own economy can thrive. But they continue in this downward spiral. My dad even mentioned to me that in a meeting with other members in the company he works at, they discussed that if things continue, by next year the company may close.
This is no longer something I just hear about or watch on the news, this is my life, my dad’s life. So, in spite of being an awkward potato, an introvert, and not that fond of politics, I’m stepping up and doing something, anything to change things.
That one is a big part of the reason why I need a small break 😉
See you guys around!

Sounds like you’ll be really busy! But it’s all for a good cause – after all your health is important, and plus, trying to make a change in Ecuador is also really important! Update us all on what’s going on in Twitter, and good luck with everything! <3

Will do! I’m so excited about it but at the same time, it’s A LOT of work, and we’re short on time since the elections are in 2017. We need to spread the word about him and his project.
