Synopsis
End of Days is the explosive conclusion to Susan Ee's bestselling Penryn & the End of Days trilogy.
After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They're both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn's sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe's past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.
When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?

I wish you guys could look at my happy, happy face.
I was afraid End of Days would completely let me down, because I had high expectations for it. Really, I was hoping this book would blow my mind worse than the 100.
And well, it didn’t, but I cannot say I didn’t like it because it did deliver awesomeness, and yes, the lovebirds could untangle some of their issues, but… I expected… more.
It was like with Rogue, it had all the good stuff, but it just failed to reach that level of epicness I’d been expecting. The most important thing about this book for me was that I wasn’t as lost here. Fortunately, a lot of the stuff I’d been confused about in the first two books was explained here.
It did bother me that the way in which things ended was simple compared to what I’d imagined. Sure, there was a battle, but, like I said, I expected more.
Don’t worry, in this post-apocalyptic world there’s plenty of gross and creepy things. Believe me. There’s one particular scene that I had to read twice, because I thought I’d misunderstood it. I think it was askin too much of my suspension of disbelief. Except for that one, the story did a very good job of crafting a good plot.
A bit slow and blurry, but a plot nonetheless.
But hey! We have bonus Penryn+Raffe hot scenes, so YAY!
