What I’ve been up to
Since you ask, college classes are on again, and they stink. Yes, this is a mini mini rant of my college classes. Most of my subjects are in english: Cultural Management, Quality Control Management, Market Research and Finance. Out of these four, only the Finance teacher actually knows how to speak in proper english. He says the word ‘guys’ a lot, but that’s beside the point, because at least he knows what he’s talking about, and how to say it.
My english isn’t perfect at all, but I’m a freaking student. If you’re going to give a class in english, even though you know about the subject, please don’t if you don’t speak it well -Yes, I’m looking at you Cultural Management.
Okay, that’s all.
In other news, as some of you may know, I gave a two-week basic english language class to some kids. Well, they aren’t actually kids, they’re 17-18 year olds. If you already know this, then you may already know that I was super upset that they almost turned me down because of my purple hair. -_-
Last friday was the last day with the kids and I’ve got to say: HALLELLUJAH
Also, the friday before the last friday, June 3rd, was my birthday, YAY! I’m twenty now!
On the Blog
In terms of reviews, it hasn’t been a very productive month. It hasn’t been a very productive month in general, actually.

Some cool posts from really cool people
- Laura wrote an incredibly relatable post on what to do do when you think your writing sucks.
- Conversation on real life friendships vs online ones by Geraldine!
- Annika discusses some issues she had with All the Bright Places, by Jennifer Niven, in spite of having liked it. -I think this is really interesting because she has some very good points.
- Sarah, at New Leaf Book Nook shared a cute DIY tutorial on how to make paper flags for your bookshelf. <3

I have the exact same problem with the professors who teach in English at my uni. I mean, honestly. I get that you make a mistake when you’re teaching for 2 hours. But elementary mistakes, like verbs? Hell no. (I study International Business Management, so I really feel you on this).

You feel my pain! And, I also read about your teachers being unfair in your exams with those slides. I can completely relate with THAT pain as well. -_-
