This post was actually long overdue, and I’m so sorry about that. It’s just been so crazy with college and my fundraising activities :/
Anyway!
You may or may not have noticed here at Reverie Society, we have a free email course! Yay! I’d dabbled in giving some freebies here and there before, sure. But I’ve always wanted a set thing I could give away and help my readers in some way since I love you guys so much.
When having an idea for a story, you’ve probably experienced something like this:
- Start writing merrily, but then get stuck at some point near the middle.
- Take notes about your ideas for the story but later have a hard time sorting them out and decide how to include them into the story.
- Try outlining but not being able to stick to the outline
I have been through all of this. And finally, decided I did need some sort of plan, but one that was vague enough to give me more space to change things later and not have to redo everything.

What is ‘From Idea to Story’?
It’s a five day email course that takes you through pillars of your story so when you’re looking to develop your idea for planning, you only focus on the absolutely most important details.
I created this tool for me, for my english students, and now, I’m sharing it with you guys, because we’re all different, and sometimes we have to try it all before we finally find what we need, and even then, sometimes we have to create it ourselves.
So either if you use it as it is, or only as a guideline, I hope it will help you with whatever planning problem you’re struggling with!

Oh yay, I really love these kind of courses, I hope this will inspire me to write more and more ahah. I always have tons of ideas in my head but rarely enough time to write them all. So at the moment I am sticking to one, ahah, but I’m hoping this will help me develop some other ideas too 🙂

Yay! I hope it does help you! I already converted a RL friend to try the workbook, because he writes too, and I’m so happy he’s using it.
And definitely, it’s so hard to find the time to write! I’ve gotten better at carving some, but it’s still hard because we can’t afford to write full time, and it’s even worse when you are a procrastinator! XD
